If you charge your electric vehicle at home  you have a limited range. It's  great for the city commute, but is difficult for longer business trips or leisure trips. You also have to wait for the battery to charge and so are limited on how much you can travel in one day, which makes it unfeasible for commercial riders.

Battery swap allows you to travel and refuel instantly. For e-bikes a battery swap is the low cost of 6,500 MWK (for 100 km of energy) which is less than 40% the equivalent petrol cost. It's even quicker than refueling and there are no queues. An attendant will take your battery and replace it instantly with a charged battery, and you can run another 100 km.

As we expand our network we're always looking for new swap stations in strategic locations. You need to be (i) located near a main road, or a prominent location, (ii) have grid electricity (min. 25A supply per charger), (iii) have someone available throughout the day that can lift and swap a 28 kg battery, (iv) have space where a bike or 3-wheeler can park during the battery swap, (v)  ideally be a commercial establishment that is open at least during daylight hours (and evening also useful),

Charging equipment and batteries are supplied by us and you earn money with each swap to cover the electricity cost and a margin for yourself. Contact us for more information.

Everyone can forget how far they've gone and run out of fuel, or in this case electricity. While our vehicles all have an LCD display with percent (1% = aprox. 1km) if you get stuck, you can call our recovery service. They will come immediately with a spare charged battery. This also applies to our 3-wheeler customers.
